The PEKLO SEVERU ROAD series was created in 2023 thanks to the collaboration between Simona Davídková and her RoadCycling Events, z.s., and the members of the CK 1967 Česká Kamenice club, z.s. We had already tested our cooperation earlier when organizing the women's UCI stage race, Tour de Feminin, and because it made sense to all of us, we decided to organize these spring races for both amateur riders and cyclists competing in the Czech Cup.

The race in Krásná Lípa followed the route of the race "O putovní pohár Rumburské vzpoury," which had been held several times in the past. A total of 21 editions were organized, and the race was hosted by Eduard Richter (Simona Davídková's father). The circuit is particularly challenging due to the iconic climb to Vápenka (the summit of the climb between the village of Doubice and the town of Krásná Lípa).

The Czech Kamenice organizers designed the race route on the roads where they themselves, in the heart of the Czech-Saxony Switzerland region, train very frequently. The circuit could be modestly called "classic," and thanks to that, it is highly selective, as demonstrated by the first edition of this series.
